About the event
We are back with last year's successful program Our Story series! We will be posting a list of our guests for 2025 soon. Until then, we are happy to announce that our first guest will be Retired GSNMP Ranger and author, Arthur "Butch" McDade! He did a program with us last year about the Walker Sisters and this coming program will be about Horace Kephart. Horace Kephart was a librarian, writer, naturalist, and advocate to create the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Want to learn more? Mark your calendars, Butch will be here Thursday, April 3, from 6 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by Q&A.
Until then, stop by the library and check out books about and written by the legendary wilderness man.
