Laurel Rematore

Laurel Rematore has served as Chief Executive Officer of Great Smoky Mountains Association in Gatlinburg, Tennessee since January 2016. She has 19 years of nonprofit cooperating association leadership experience gained at the Smokies, Mesa Verde Museum Association, and Yosemite Association. A California native, Laurel happily abandoned a Silicon Valley career in defense and high tech to pursue her passion for public lands stewardship. She is a member of Gatlinburg’s Rotary Club, and serves on the boards of the Public Lands Alliance and the Anna Porter Public Library. In her free time, Laurel enjoys walking in the woods, yoga, and dark chocolate.
