  • June 20 - Overview of all you can do from APPL's website. Visit our local online calendar and our catalog. Learn how to find the best book to read or listen to next. Find out how you can explore local cultural and natural history. Visit historical photographs.
  • June 27 - Books Beyond APPL - Explore our physical books and movies and those we can borrow for you from Tennessee libraries. Have a look at the millions of books brought to you right here in Gatlinburg from Mountain Home to Memphis, and all over the world.
  • July 11 - R.E.A.D.S., the Regional eBook and Audiobook Download System. Learn to download eBooks to your personal computer and reading or listening device.  Overview only -  more hands on classes will be scheduled for specific devices, like Kindles and iPhones --- and they are all FREE!!!
  • July 18 - Kindle help - Learn to use your Kindle to borrow FREE ebooks through Tennessee's R.E.A.D.S. (Regional eBook and Audiobook Download System)
  • July 25 - Investigate local history and your genealogical history online. Have a look at ancestry.com and Heritage Quest. Visit Smoky Kin. 
  • August 1 - TEL, introduction to the Tennessee Electronic Library. This will reveal only the tip of the TEL iceberg. TEL contains over 400,000 electronic resources, including magazines and test preparation materials, in 70 databases.
